Introducing - the overdress!

This genuinely might be my (the designer's) favorite style yet.

this darling garment is made of a cotton/linen blend and features a 2-tiered skirt, pockets on the lower skirt layer, and front tie closure. keep an eye out for preorders in May!

Bring on the whimsy

The moment this cardigan came across my screen I knew I had to have it. It's absolutely magical and whimsical and I never want to take it off. I even made myself some acorn earrings to go along with the outfit
I'm some one who's in between sizes (5.3 ft and 142lb) so I chose a medium, but I probably could gone for small. But it works regardless since you wear it as an outer layer and isn't meant to be tight fitting

I get constant complements when wearing this. It is heavy, and embroidery has taken a little to not be so stiff, but I really love this cardigan.

Gorgeous art and comfortable jacket

I LOVE this jacket!! I spent a long time deciding what pattern to get but my love of luna moths and rosy maple moths, plus the marigolds and bleeding heart flowers, swayed me to this one.

The jacket is spacious without feeling bulky, the sewing quality is strong but with subtle stitching, and the embroidery pieces are to die for. I especially love the embroidery on the back. If you want a statement jacket that screams flower lover, this one is high up on the list. I was pleasantly surprised by the zipper pockets, which keeps things more secure than an open pocket, and the buttons are strong but easy to do up.

I was also surprised that the red is slightly less saturated than it looks in the photos, which is to the jacket's benefit because a darker and slightly less saturated red helps it mesh with my other clothes. But! It is still VERY colorful, the difference between photos and real life is not stark or shocking in any way.

Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I would definitely buy another cotton jacket from Morning Witch in another pattern. If you are thinking about this and on the fence, let me tip the scales: buy the jacket!!

For the record, I was the fool that didn't realize I was ordering a cover, thus I had no pillow inserts to prepare. That being said, when I finally got those and filled out the volume, they really turned out to be delightful. A wonderful addition to my living room.
