For the record, I was the fool that didn't realize I was ordering a cover, thus I had no pillow inserts to prepare. That being said, when I finally got those and filled out the volume, they really turned out to be delightful. A wonderful addition to my living room.

I bought 2 of these for my living room couch and I'm stunned at how beautiful these are in person. The embroidery is perfect on both with no stitching errors and the shimmery thread catches the light beautifully. The chocolate brown velvet is rich and soft. The opposite side is the allover print and can be flipped around and used as it's own design as well! The zipper is strong and held up well to me stuffing the pillow inside it. I used a 25×25 sized pillow and it stuffed it just right to my desired fluffness. The pillow cases in person are just breathtaking and if you've been considering getting one I say splurge because you won't regret it!!!

The velvet is so soft! The embroidery does make the pillow a bit stiff, so definitely only good as an accent pillow case and not as the main pillow covers. I didnt have any trouble putting my pillows in, the seams are solid and the zipper wasnt flimsy!
