Cotton twill exterior with a 100% cotton interior, and embroidered detailing on the chest, back and sleeves! Cotton twill does not stretch. If you are on the upper end of a size, or own a velvet jacket and find that it is snug on you, you may have to size up.

The inside lining is printed with the matching pattern to the design. 2 front pockets, and a small interior breast pocket.

Care instructions:

Spot clean as needed, or hand wash in cold water and then hang to dry.
If machine washing: please use cold water and a gentle cycle, and then hang to dry. do NOT use high heat or high spin.

Gorgeous art and comfortable jacket

I LOVE this jacket!! I spent a long time deciding what pattern to get but my love of luna moths and rosy maple moths, plus the marigolds and bleeding heart flowers, swayed me to this one.

The jacket is spacious without feeling bulky, the sewing quality is strong but with subtle stitching, and the embroidery pieces are to die for. I especially love the embroidery on the back. If you want a statement jacket that screams flower lover, this one is high up on the list. I was pleasantly surprised by the zipper pockets, which keeps things more secure than an open pocket, and the buttons are strong but easy to do up.

I was also surprised that the red is slightly less saturated than it looks in the photos, which is to the jacket's benefit because a darker and slightly less saturated red helps it mesh with my other clothes. But! It is still VERY colorful, the difference between photos and real life is not stark or shocking in any way.

Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I would definitely buy another cotton jacket from Morning Witch in another pattern. If you are thinking about this and on the fence, let me tip the scales: buy the jacket!!

This jacket is as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures. Its made of very durable material and will be a staple peice in my wardrobe for years to come. Do pay attention to the sizing chart. The jackets are unisex. I measured one of the jackets that I have that fits a little loose the way I like, and it corresponded to asize medium. I was a bit skeptical at first and wondered if I should size up to a large, but I purchased the medium and its the perfect size. For reference I am a woman, 5 ft 8 in tall, about 170 lbs, and I usually wear a size 10-12 women's US.

I love it! The deep red color is gorgeous and the embroidery is stunning. I keep getting complements on it!

Sublime fabric, feels super good on my very sensible autistic skin, absolutely beautiful, warm and perfect for autumn and spring, as well as winter as, even if it gets even colder, the arms are big enough to allow warmer clothing to be worn.
