This is a preorder item - it is currenly in production and is NOT at our office just yet! Fulfillment will occur somewhere around October-November, give or take a few weeks. More specific updates will be sent out via email or posted here as they come up!

Any on-hand items ordered with this one will be shipped when the preorder item arrives with us.

This round of preorders will include a tencel lining that goes to the mid-thigh. This is the same tencel that is used to line our embroidered linen items!

These loose, breezy pants feature an elastic waist, optional belt tie, and nice roomy pockets. This material has no stretch, so size up if you're between sizes.

As of February 2026, the material for this item is a 45% cotton/55% linen blend!

Care instructions: For any linen fabric, we recommend hand washing cold with a gentle detergent and air drying to avoid damage to the fibers. Heat and agitation from machine washing/drying may cause issues. Please see our apparel care blog post for more info!

I love both of these patterns and they have retained most of their color a few months later, but I find the fabric a bit itchy. This could just be me, since I have sensitive skin and lots of tactile issues, but in case anyone else with these issues is considering picking these up, beware. I thought these culottes would get better after a few washes and some wear, but after a few months, of both they are still slightly itchy.

also these do bunch kind of weird on me. I am short and chubby (5'3 nearly 200lbs), so most clothes don't have a great fit on me.

I still wear them every week, and this won't stop me from getting clothes from Morningwitch. I've bought like 4 skirts and a pair of trousers from here and love them all.

Im sorry you found the fabric itchy! The texture of linen can be a little weird for some people for sure. I just wanted to let you know that the upcoming culottes (and trousers) will have a mid-thigh tencel lining, which would help with not feeling the texture of the linen. In case you wanted to try them again!

Beautiful culottes!

These look great! I got them as a present for a friend, so I can't speak to how they fit yet. But they material is lovely, and Morning Witch have been very helpful: when they shipped the wrong size originally the covered the cost of the return. Very happy!

Coolest Culottes. Hot Weather Survival and Style 😎

I've worn these pretty much every day this summer. They're durrable enough for gardening but also versatile for a cute going out look. I get a lot of compliments on them and I'm absolutely obsessed. I'm 5'5" with a longer torso, W27" H32" the Small fits great. Roomy as preferred in the crotch and hips. Hemline ~2.5" above the ankle.

Lovely bright print

Lovely bright print, fits to measurement, decent light-weight fabric. I had to trim a lot of threads (at least twenty) when I received them and the belt loops have an unfinished edge that is fraying. I think this is an okay level of polish for a garment at this price point, but I'm not sure I'll buy a garment from Morning Witch again as I prefer to pay more for a less needy garment when buying new. Might buy their home goods though as I do love the print!

My new favorite pants

I bought two pairs of the cotton/linen blend culottes, one in Emerald Dream and one in Scarlet Garden and have worn no other pants since they arrived and I got them washed. These are comfy and breezy to wear.
