Cotton twill exterior with a 100% cotton interior, and embroidered detailing on the chest, back and sleeves! Cotton twill does not stretch. If you are on the upper end of a size, or own a velvet jacket and find that it is snug on you, you may have to size up.

The inside lining is printed with the matching pattern to the design. 2 front pockets, and a small interior breast pocket.

Care instructions:

Spot clean as needed, or hand wash in cold water and then hang to dry.
If machine washing: please use cold water and a gentle cycle, and then hang to dry. do NOT use high heat or high spin. We recommend turning the jacket inside out and even placing into a garment bag during the wash. Agitation during washing may damage the embroidery and cause it to fray or wear down faster.

Compliments at a Book Event

I can't tell you how many compliments I received while wearing this jacket at a book event in Maine. I was pleasantly surprised that a few people knew exactly who I bought it from.

But one comment stuck out to me. A woman mentioned she'd always wanted to buy something from you guys, but in a time where you have to be leery of who you order from when things look too good to be true, she was always hesitant.

She said she'd never seen a real person wearing one of Morning Witch's products before and was relieved to see they look as good in real life as they do on your site. Hopefully, I brought you a little more business!

The fit is excellent (I'm 130-135lbs, 5'5" and own a size medium). It provided enough warmth in chilly weather to be comfortable (was around 50-55 degrees). The embroidery is a bit stiff, but that's the nature of large embroidery. Plus, it's quite new, so that's to be expected. Just a heads up to those who haven't worn pieces with large, embroidered designs.

Worth every penny.

I love wearing something with personality and this jacket is super nice. I don't own black clothes but this jacket pairs well with multiple colors of greens, reds, pinks and whites. I used a measureing tape so you guys can see the measurements for a size small. For me the sleeves go to the middle of my palms and the jacket itself goes down just above my thighs. I saw in a different review that someone dried theirs and it shrank so that sounds like the solution for me. But this is a good jacket and it will keep you warm.

It's amazing

Coming out as a trans girl is hard until you have this item and a black maxi skirt and look beautiful. Highly recommend to everybody with an unsupportive family who needs to be taught a lesson.

Washed on cold and delicate dry and it shrank excessively, like 4-5” in the sleeves. Not wearable anymore. Order a much larger size or never wash it.

Hello! As i mentioned in our email exchange when you mentioned drying the jacket on low, its most likely caused by heat from the dryer, which can be surprisingly excessive even on low settings. We also recommend air drying partially for this reason, because we cannot account for every customer's dryer and it's better to play it safe - some customers have been drying their jackets on low for years without issue, and some do it once and find out their 'low' setting isnt as mild as they thought. Im sorry for the frustration and the shrinkage though!

The jacket is even more beautiful in person! I purchased it as a gift for my best friend, and she loved it. Arrived a couple of months after I ordered (because of presale), but it was well worth the wait. Has a very nice pattern lining on the inside of the jacket. Very warm and insulating My best friend says it's her new favorite clothing item!
