The Morningwitch classic - our printed button up shirt! 100% cotton with hip buttons for extra room. This design features: blooming magnolias, goldenrod, and beetles.

The fabric may feel stiff right out of the bag, but will soften with wear and washing. Our 'best practice' for cleaning these shirts is to hand wash cold and hang to dry. If this is not possible, please turn the shirt inside out, wash cold on a delicate cycle and hang to dry. Heat and excessive agitation during washing or drying may lead to premature fading of the print because the top of the fabric becomes 'scuffed'.

Plus sizing issues

My husband loves this shirt and it fits him perfectly. Unfortunately I bought it for myself. I have a large bust and a large belly so I bought a 3XL. The fit is very awkward on me. Being tight in the hips is fine because I could unbutton the sides, but it's also too large in the shoulders and sleeves. The 2XL might be a better fit in the sleeves, but would have been too tight in other places based on where the 3XL was tight. My husband is AMAB and I'm AFAB but we have the same chest size so it's frustrating that the shirt fits him and not me. It can't really be called unisex in that case and shouldn't be presented that way. If you're AFAB, I'd be careful with plus sizes here, and I just wouldn't go for it if you're short. My husband's stoked on it, at least. It's a great shirt it just didn't fit me and it really didn't feel like sizing down would help.

Im so sorry the shirt didnt fit the way you had hoped! Unfortunately everyone's body is different even if some measurements may be the same between people, so the way something fits can vary wildly and isnt inherently tied to being AFAB or AMAB.

Best Beetle Shirt I Own

The design is lovely and it fits perfectly- I can stretch my shoulders without and unfortunate peeking between the buttons! The material was a bit stiff at the start, but it softened once I washed it a couple of times.

I took a chance on this shirt because honestly I'm kinda nervous about button downs. But hoh golly it's now my absolute FAVORITE! SHIRT! I had to stop myself from wearing it on repeat every day, like wearing out a new song until you're sick of it. I must savor it.

Right out of the bag the shirt fit me and flattered. The little tailored detail of the buttons on the bottom side slits are a really nice touch. The magnolia pattern is amazing. The colors are so vibrant and the details of the design make me really happy. The cotton is soft and has a pretty nice drape too!

My only complaint - a very temporary one - was all the loose and trailing threads to trim. They were mostly on the inside of the shirt, but I still wouldn't recommend wearing a garment with a bunch of threads like that in case they snag and pull at the seams. But it was no real biggie - I just took about 5ish minutes to carefully trim them and now it's all good. (I like meticulous work like that so it didn't bother me.)

Overall I'm super happy with this shirt.

My friend told me about morningwitch and I saw this shirt and fell in love with the pattern, and now that I have it, it surpasses all my expectations. Fits perfectly, and is so well made! So happy!
