The Scarlet Garden design features pomegranates, snakes, bats, sparrows, red currant and chokecherry.

Longline cardigans are made with 100% linen and feature embroidery on the chest, the bottom of the front and the sleeves. The cardigans come with a removable waist-tie and have pockets and a hood.

linen does not stretch - if you are on the upper end of the a sizing, you may have to size up.

Care instructions: Wash cold on a delicate cycle to preserve color and embroidery, and to keep the linen from shrinking. Placing the cardigan into a bag made for delicates can help with agitation during washing. Please air dry if possible to preserve the quality of the embroidery and to prevent the fabric from shrinking. While the garment is pre-shrunk, it can shrink further if washed or dried hot. Also, drying may damage linen fibers.

Beautiful, but with there was a lining.

I really love this cardigan. It is beautiful and so fun. However, considering the price and craftsmanship otherwise put into it, I was genuinely surprised to see that there was no lining or way to protect/hide the back side of the embroidery. The lack makes it feel unfinished, in a way. I’m a little wary of wearing it casually, for fear that I’ll end up catching some of the threads on the buttons of my shirt or pants and somehow ruining the whole thing. It’s a piece of art that I’m proud to have in my wardrobe, but I really wish there was a lining and hope future pieces will take that into consideration. :)

Overall, Very Beautiful and Very Happy!

I love this piece!! The colors on mine feel bright and vibrant, the material is comfortable, and I cannot wait to take it out for a spin come fall!

I want to be clear that I like it a LOT and have no regrets, but I do have a few small critiques I wanna give. For one, there are a good number of loose threads here and there I'm gonna have to cut back on my own. Normally, I wouldn't care, but this was $250 and it did throw off my budget for this paycheck, so it would be a small quality of life upgrade if I didn't have to worry about that.
Second, and this may be just a me thing, but I don't like where the belt sits on it? It'd feel more comfortable, to me at least, if the belt looped around just above where my hips are, but it wants to sit just below my ribcage, which I don't like as much. I do have kind of a long torso, so maybe it's my own fault, who knows.
I'm a 5'9" man and I'm fairly slim. Usually I fit in a men's medium to even a men's small, but I got a large since I know the measurements tend to lean towards the smaller side, which was DEFINITELY the right call, it fits me quite well (short of the belt placement, but again, might be my own sensory issues).

Im so sorry about the threads - youre completely right that it shouldnt be an issue! We're currently working on exapnding the team to include an in-house quality manager, so we can deal with small details like that before clothing is sent out.

As for the belt - i tend to design my clothes to have ties/belts at the waist rather than the hips. I think it just comes down to personal prefence! You can probably still wear the belt at the hips without the loops, though. Thanks again for the nice review!!

I am getting so many nice comments about this, and that's wonderful because it is beautiful. More importantly, however, for a tall, plus-sized woman, this is a flattering, comfortable piece that is quality made. I really love that it's easy to wash and is a light and comfortable cotton jacket for inside or outside. The embroidery is beautiful and I feel so nice in it.
