[LINEN TUNIC] Memento Mori: Canidae / Necromancer

Price

tunics are made with 100% linen and feature embroidery on the chest, the bottom of the front and the sleeves. The sides have slits up to the belt loops, and the waist-tie is optional and can be removed.

Please note that the embroidery covers large areas on the garment, and its very detailed - which results in a stiffer feeling!

linen does not stretch - if you are on the upper end of the a sizing, you may have to size up.

Care instructions: Wash cold on a delicate cycle to preserve color and embroidery, and to keep the linen from shrinking. Placing the cardigan into a bag made for delicates can help with agitation during washing. Please air dry if possible to preserve the quality of the embroidery and to prevent the fabric from shrinking. While the garment is pre-shrunk, it can shrink further if washed or dried hot. Also, drying may damage linen fibers.

This feels super high-quality. I ordered the medium (F, 5'2", 160 lbs) and it fits perfectly.

I do wish the waist tie was a bit longer as it's not quite long enough to do more than a basic knot. I found I prefer reversing the tie in order to knot in the back, not the front, as this seems to make the big embroidery panels lie flatter and displays them better.

The side slits are also QUITE high. They come WELL above my bellybutton, even higher when I sit down. I'm still showing skin even in my highest of high-waisted pants. I'm not comfortable wearing this tunic without a shirt/cami underneath it. This isn't a problem per se, but definitely something to consider.

All in all, tho, I love this and immediately ordered a second tunic in a different color.
