Cropped, front tie cardigans are made with 100% linen and feature 2 front ties, dramatic bell sleeves that are lined with 100% tencel and embroidery on the chest, arms and back.

the back and chest are unlined, only the sleeves have lining! Please note that the embroidery covers large areas on the garment, and its very detailed - which results in a stiffer feeling!

linen does not stretch - if you are on the upper end of the a sizing, you may have to size up.

Care instructions: Wash cold on a delicate cycle to preserve color and embroidery, and to keep the linen from shrinking. Placing the cardigan into a bag made for delicates can help with agitation during washing. Please air dry if possible to preserve the quality of the embroidery and to prevent the fabric from shrinking. While the garment is pre-shrunk, it can shrink further if washed or dried hot. Also, drying may damage linen fibers.

You cannot go wrong with something from MorningWitch

I bought this to celebrate a little triumph in my personal life and I simply adore it. The days I wear it I look in the mirror and feel completed, allowing me to feel like I've finally unlocked a missing piece of my personal style. I am a little fretful over a few stray threads in the embroidery as the cardigan ages, but they inspire me to try to take care of it. The linen is wonderfully breathable on warm days and is just the right amount of warmth on chillier ones. I am hoping to add more MW pieces to my wardrobe as my budget allows, I love this one so much.

I like the material and I love the embroidery

The fabric feel is SO nice, and the embroidery is just lovely. Because of all the weight in the sleeves (due to their length, the lining, the embroidery) I got a little worried that the stitching might pull if it were hung up in a closet, so it's a lie-flat garment in my closet. The art is what initially drew me to this piece, but seeing the workmanship definitely made me want to save up so I can wear more garments from this shop!
