Cotton twill exterior with a 100% cotton interior, and embroidered detailing on the chest, back and sleeves! Cotton twill does not stretch. If you are on the upper end of a size, or own a velvet jacket and find that it is snug on you, you may have to size up.

The inside lining is printed with the matching pattern to the design. 2 front pockets, and a small interior breast pocket.

Care instructions:

Spot clean as needed, or hand wash in cold water and then hang to dry.
If machine washing: please use cold water and a gentle cycle, and then hang to dry. do NOT use high heat or high spin.

Good quality

The embroidery is beautiful! The jacket was stiffer and heavier than I expected but hopefully it'll soften up in the wash. I was between sizes and the large was out of stock so I got an XL - it's a little big on me but I still like it.

Absolutely beautiful!!

This jacket is brighter than it seems in the pictures — more of a dark but bright teal than a dark blue, and the embroidery colors really pop. I think it's FABULOUS, very high quality, warm but not stifling, and very comfortable! I normally get a medium in tshirts/sweatshirts, but I got a large and it fits just a bit oversized, which is just how I wanted it. The zipper on the pockets is a nice touch but makes the pockets a little hard to access, though it's not a big deal by any means.

My overall feelings are extremely positive — I've gotten so many compliments and have given out the shop name every time. Worth your money for sure!!

Just What I Needed

I have been taking my time finding the clothing and expression that suits my identity. When I stumbled upon the morningwitch website, I was enamored with so many items! The Emerald Dream piece was something missing from my wardrobe and I'm so happy to now have it in the mix. It's beautiful, well-fitting, and a stand alone, distinct jacket. I feel special wearing it; what more could you ask for in your clothes!

Even prettier in person

The colors are so vibrant! it’s perfect for chilly days and the inside material is soft. very comfortable. i’m 5’3 and medium was the perfect fit for me.
there are threads coming loose around the buttons and on the sleeve embroidery, which i’m slightly concerned will unravel.

Hello, im so sorry about the threads! They shouldnt have any effect on the longevity of the garment - sometimes a few are missed when the threads are being cut back after production is finished. However if you find that the embroidery is unraveling because of these threads, definitely shoot us an email and we would be happy to help you out! :)
