hey everyone - its been a little while since my last blog post update! but im back with a really fun one - an official announcement about the upcoming linen collection ive been developing for the past few months!
recently i've been especially inspired by more fantasy-leaning apparel, and i wanted to develop a collection that would be flexible enough to wear day-to-day, or to a dressed up DnD game, or to a renn faire! linen was a natural first choice for material here, and ive been itching to use it for something anyway since its as durable and breathable as a natural fiber can get. and as usual, ive been working hard on new embroidered designs for all of the linen items!
this initial release will include tunics, cropped front tie cardigans and longline cardigans. linen button downs are also in the works but wont be a part of the collection this time around.
TUNICS
tunics were the first item i developed for the collection, and i really adore them. they'll come with an optional waist tie that you can replace with another belt or just remove entirely - i find this really helps customize the fit based on personal preference, since you can choose to wear it loose and 'straight cut', or tie the belt tightly to create a nice hourglass effect! the sides are also slit almost up to the waist, so the drape is more dynamic.
these will be available in four designs: magnolia (pictured above), scarlet garden, velvet night, and memento mori: canidae! i added some teaser previews while i wait for the preproduction samples to finish <3

i dont have photos of these just yet, but check out this video to see the cropped cardis in action! the samples i have are a little big on me so ignore the slight baggy look, haha.
the final cardigans will have some changes since the first version in the video! the sleeves will most likely have a thin tencel lining to prevent the embroidery from irritating those with sensory issues, and the front will have 2 ties.
i recently went on a little vacation and wore the emerald dream sample out and about, and it was incredibly fun. the big sleeves are really dramatic, and the linen is fantastic for hot weather.
this style will be available in 4 designs: emerald dream (pictured above), magnolia, salamander woods - and for the last spot im currently deciding between a corvid and a felidae (feline) memento mori design! the pricing for these will be around $120 as well.

so this style doesn't have much in the way of photos or previews right now, but its the one i might be most excited about. these will feature: long sleeves, a hood, a button closure at the waist, optional waist tie like the tunics, and the bottom has a nice flare to it for extra drama. and pockets!
the only design ill be making at first is the scarlet garden - these cardigans use a large amount of linen, have double the amount of embroidered areas compared to past garments, and the embroidery itself is some of my most complex to date. all this to say - theyre very expensive to make and to sell! so i'd like to see how they do before i commit to more designs :) i hope you guys really love them though - i think the final product will be some of my most decadent design work yet!
the pricing for these will be around $280.
linen button downs are also in the works but wont be a part of this initial release. you can see the latest video update on them here! im considering developing linen pants in the same style as the tencel culottes to match as well.
im waiting on some final samples before i announce the release date but i anticipate itll be around the end of October/early november! this will be a capped (limited stock) presale with fulfillment around December/January.
