These dresses were a part of a first batch in this style - unfortunately it was discovered after we began selling them that there was a rare issue where the fabric would have a high rate of shrinkage when washed. This DOES NOT affect all of the dresses, but we cant know which ones will have the issue. If you place an order, you must be okay with this possibility. The dresses shrink in length, not in width, so they are still wearable as tunics or with some bloomers!

Babydoll dress style in 100% cotton. Fabric is soft and light without feeling flimsy, with a bit of stretch.

Wash cold and hang dry to prevent the print from fading.

I love this dress!

This dress is super comfortable and super cute! I love wearing it with a bright pair of tights!

Had to return

The print and fabric is lovely. This dress was really baggy and not flattering for my body type, so I had to send it back. It just didn’t suit my style, sleeves were longer than I expected for a shorter dress and it was definitely oversized (possibly on purpose?) 3 starts because the prints was so beautiful and the construction was nice, just wasn’t me.

A little oversized and a LOT of shrinkage

The print of this dress is so lovely and vibrant, but the fit is definitely a bit baggier than expected but it might be best to size down if you don't want a loose fit.

A BIG word of caution for laundering: Definitely hang dry and do NOT dry low heat. Even with the low heat I used the dress shrunk in length by at least 4 inches and is now unwearable, even as a short person.

I adore this little dress, the print is gorgeous as expected, and I like the material. The fit is a bit odd - I bought a small (my usual size), and while the length on this is great for me, the upper top/torso/breast area is pretty loose (for context, I'm a 34B). It looks a little baggy on me and I could have sized down but then the length would be too short :(
Also, I WANT POCKETS. Even though the waistline on this style is a babydoll (i.e., it's a little higher than the natural waist), I think little sleek side pockets would still look good and be nearly invisible.
