These dresses were a part of a first batch in this style - unfortunately it was discovered after we began selling them that there was a rare issue where the fabric would have a high rate of shrinkage when washed. This DOES NOT affect all of the dresses, but we cant know which ones will have the issue. If you place an order, you must be okay with this possibility. The dresses shrink in length, not in width, so they are still wearable as tunics or with some bloomers!

Babydoll dress style in 100% cotton. Fabric is soft and light without feeling flimsy, with a bit of stretch.

Wash cold and hang dry to prevent the print from fading.

Beautiful print, comfy dress!

The hawkmoth and thistle design is beautiful, and it prints very crisp and detailed on the new cotton knit fabric. I keep noticing new details in it, like hummingbird moths among the hawkmoths. The fabric feels cool, light, and smooth, perfect for a summer's day or for layering. I chose to size up to get a loose, easy fit, and it's perfect. The dress is on the short side for my preference- it hits low-to-mid thigh on me even sized up- so I like to wear it more like a long top layered with a longer skirt or pants. I will definitely be getting more dresses in other Morningwitch prints!
