tunics are made with 100% linen and feature embroidery on the chest, the bottom of the front and the sleeves. The sides have slits up to the belt loops, and the waist-tie is optional and can be removed.

linen does not stretch - if you are on the upper end of the a sizing, you may have to size up.

Please note that the embroidery covers large areas on the garment, and its very detailed - which results in a stiffer feeling!

Care instructions: Wash cold on a delicate cycle to preserve color and embroidery, and to keep the linen from shrinking. Placing the cardigan into a bag made for delicates can help with agitation during washing. Please air dry if possible to preserve the quality of the embroidery and to prevent the fabric from shrinking. While the garment is pre-shrunk, it can shrink further if washed or dried hot. Also, drying may damage linen fibers.

Great product with beautiful embroidery, some of the threads are sticking out and the stitching on the shoulders is loose but overall it is a beautiful tunic

Absolutely perfect!

I’m 200lbs and typically wear a women’s XL/38DD. I read a previous review to size down and they were right. I purchased a medium and it fits well through the shoulders and chest without being oversized. I love that there are slits on the side to allow for hips and easy movement. While I chose to remove the belt, the belt loops were great to put my Renaissance Faire belt through. The embroidery wasn’t scratchy after the first wash and I was comfortable all day as linen is ideal for hot days.

I am about 170lbs. More fat than muscle. 5’7”. Usually order an XL here. I was surprised to find that this is sized up more than other items I’ve bought from here. I had to go down to a large, and it’s still a bit broad in the shoulders, but in retrospect that makes sense as linen has no stretch. (No complaints here! I’m used to everything being 3 sizes smaller than what it claims to be.) The color and embroidery is gorgeous. The embroidery makes the fabric more stiff in those areas. I notice it in the arms depending on what I’m doing and on the hem when I’m sitting, but it’s just something I’m not used to yet, it doesn’t effect the comfortability or look. I was disappointed to get two holes in the fabric on my chest the first time I wore it. Unfortunently, I think it was my cat, who decided to clamber over my shoulder when she decided she didn’t want to be held anymore. Nice and light even with the embroidery, although the summer will be the real heat test, but it was comfortable in the current spring Florida 60s-70s F. I have found that I prefer to tie the wait tie in the back, not bringing it around to the front. It helps form a nice silhouette, but it doesn’t accentuate my stomach or constrict it when I sit since it’s all in the back. The slits on the sides do come up pretty high, so it’s easy to get a flash of skin on the side even with high waisted pants, but it isn’t exposing. The tie especially keeps the fabric from billowing out. I feel very secure in it. High quality and gorgeous as always!
