Cropped, front tie cardigans are made with 100% linen and feature 2 front ties, dramatic bell sleeves that are lined with 100% tencel and embroidery on the chest, arms and back.

the back and chest are unlined, only the sleeves have lining! Please note that the embroidery covers large areas on the garment, and its very detailed - which results in a stiffer feeling!

linen does not stretch - if you are on the upper end of the a sizing, you may have to size up.

Care instructions: Wash cold on a delicate cycle to preserve color and embroidery, and to keep the linen from shrinking. Placing the cardigan into a bag made for delicates can help with agitation during washing. Please air dry if possible to preserve the quality of the embroidery and to prevent the fabric from shrinking. While the garment is pre-shrunk, it can shrink further if washed or dried hot. Also, drying may damage linen fibers.

Great Design, Fabric, and Construction

I love the quality of the fabric and construction. The embroidered design is perfect and the colours are beautiful. The lining really helps to protect the wearers skin from the embroidery too

This jacket is even higher quality than I expected, its a heavy, high quality linen woth a soft lining that makes it so comfortable to wear. It’s so beautiful I cried happy tears when I tried it on for the first time, and I get complimented on it constantly. I’ve never loved an article of clothing this much!

I love this cardigan so much, I got so many compliments while wearing it. It's one of my absolute favorites from Morning Witch!

Immediately the coolest thing I own

First purchase from Morningwitch and I love it. Cropped length hits just below natural waist for me (5'3", 155lbs, 36D, ordered a medium), and sleeves are a little long, but it's expected at my height, and it works with the style. Linen feels good quality, and I appreciate the sleeves being lined. Color is true to the pics, love the green and orange together.

Only reason it's not 5/5 is that one of the best qualities of linen is its drape, and the stiffness of the large machine embroidery patches on the sleeves prevents them from doing that. They bunch oddly when arms are bent. Still a great piece, but it would be nice for future designs on this pattern to have only small sleeve embroidery, and save the big stiff pieces for the torso.
